A cousins weekend with an awful experience of food poisoning. Friday was HariRaya, introducing a free day for everyone and shopping centres packed with kiasu singaporean chinese people. Thankfully, the arrival of dion, my cousin who migrated to melbourne for 3years without coming back to sg, led my mama in preparing a whole feast for the lunch "celebration" with other cousins. Crabs, Curry Chicken and Chilli Crab, the 5Cs! After lunch was earthquake at swensons in Bugis and a stayover party at the guys' house with drinks, popcorn and movies! (fyi, our family is of three girls and shane's family is of three guys. A perfect match between the two families!) That's perhaps the reason of the diarrhea i've later experienced. Alcohol probably isnt the best when mixed with honey coated popcorns. It seems like the only thing we do when the two family meet is, eat. It's almost true, basing on the fact that we had a jap buffet the next day!! But we do do other stuffs like shopping, midnight movies and stayovers! And tmr, we're heading down to sentosa for a cousins picnic. (I feel so family-oriented now, all of a sudden!) Today(Sunday) was a, accident-prone day. My mama got a deep cut from a broken macdonalds glass cup (Yes, she specifically mentioned MACDONALDS cup to the doctor.) My sis almost fainted upon seeing the stitching process while i chickened out of the clinic waiting for it to be all over. And when we came back home my sis accidentally dropped and broke a plate, making it shatter a whole radius of 1528metres! (Admit, exaggerated.) 3 more hrs till the end of the day, hopefully there's no more accidents till the end of today. Okay! I'll be gg back to my korean drama, "You're beautiful" and after that, 10seasons of f.r.i.e.n.d.s that i've gotten from shane! (But of cos that'll only take me through the midnight for the day is occupied with friends and family.) P.S. I've borrowed books from the library. (So many antisocial activties making me softspoken!) P.S.S. Yay! University exams are ending!! :D

Priority? FUCK!
wtf. holidays are called holidays for a fucking reason, no? (Sorry for the f word, shows that i'm really really pissed.) After studying for 5mth away from everything, dont i have the right to take a break and hang out with my friends? But unfortunately, My paps just has that stubborn old fashion thinking that i'm just returning back to sg just to SEE everyone that i've missed and i have to continue studying when i'm back in sg, on a holiday, when my exams just ended 2weeks ago. WTF? Past holidays in sg weren't like that! And what do you want me to study anyways?! Fine, i'll go to the library to borrow some books tmr. Just cant stand my parents driving down my neck, when i have experienced absolute freedom back in aus. It's really not that easy to have your freedom stripped away from you just because you got back home within 8hrs. The irritating thing is that paps only emphasises on the days that i'm out, and ignores the prison days at home. And whats worse is that when i'm jailed at home, no one's in. So whats the fucking reason of coming back and staying at home then?! I can just continue skyping with my friends and family back in melbourne! Urgh, I hate my anger management. While typing this, i can feel my anger diffusing through the air. I have absolutely no backbone. Oh wells, maybe it's a good thing from another point of view. (Thats probably why i cant get mad at youknwwho.) Finally had that multipostponing dinner with gabriel liong. Chinatown is by far the warmest place ever with no breeze at all. Partly cos I had a cardigan on, which added on to the heatwave I experienced during dinner. I really like hanging out at liangcourt with boss and ladyboss. What's best is the free ride home which allows me to avoid that extremely long distance home. So, if i have time and my paps stops nagging, i'll work for them. Planned to go down there before clubbing to chill for awhile, but the whole plan's diverted to picking up my cousin from the airport tmr. Oh wells, next week then! :)) I should be happy.I should be proud.I should be.

Pretenders
My eyes are really very tired(probably from the removal of my eyeliner), so let's keep this post short and "sweet". The definition of "sweet" in this context wont be those of heart warming or even refering to the sense of taste buds. It just includes sarcasm of the past few mundane days. These few days filled with boredom, and friends cancelling on last minute plans which made me waste my whole day ended up watching television. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind getting acquainted with the long-lost tv i've missed so dearly for the past few months. But obviously i still prefer meeting friends that i've probably missed more than the cartoon characters on disney channel. This hurdle of university exams is really getting on my yawns and the only thing i can do other than tv-ing, is work. So i worked today and it was really tiring. I wonder how does one keep up with such stamina of 11hrs straight everyday. But one thing good about the job is that you spend the whole day worrying bout your sales, that you miss meals leading to weight loss. Hmm maybe this would be the major consideration for continuing to work at the shop. Or maybe i should simultaneously handle 2 jobs to gain more experiences in other working environments. But often i ask myself, why am i working so hard for. I'm here in sg on holiday isnt it? And when i'm back in Aus, i should be finding a part time job as well. So why am i rushing into getting myself so busy at this moment, when i can meet up with my friends and just slack along? hmmm. Maybe i'll become a workaholic next time. (''/Yah right.) Just got home from a treat from Boss and i have to wait for the tomyum noodles to digest. But my eyes are really on the verge of shutting down and i have to try to wake up early for church with margs tmr morning! (Since when i care bout food digestions anyways!) So off to bed for noww! I guess i'll start keeping myself busy with work, till my friends are out of those strangling exams and by then i'll have the capital for partying! :D I dont knw if it's the best way to handle it, but i cant think of other ways. Some things just cant be forgotten like that, so should we at least talked about it?

you dont care anymore.
It's been 4days since i've reached sunny singapore and i'm practically still in a i-cant-believe-i'm-in-sg kind of state. It's been a blaze but kinda boring these 2days lazying at home cos almost everyone's preparing for their exams. Within this 4days, i had 3surprises. The first one was kinda fake and expected, the second included an unexpected added person and the last was just a failed attempt. First surprise was bindy, adele and tang. Apparently they were suppose to be at the airport waiting, but they missed the bus and had to head to my house. It wasnt that of a surprise cos bindy wasnt much a successful liar. You see, it's not really usual that the right date of my arrival will be mistaken, with me telling the exact date to more than 2people. So, busted. An expected surprise. But i recognise the effort and am truly happy to see them that day! :D But unfortunately the usual adele had to go home early and so we didnt really hang out long enough. Still waiting for the university exams to end! On saturday, I went out with htf and tpo, with a surprise appearance made by Tau. That was truely an unexpected surprise(and an unplanned one). Anyway we had dinner at an italian restaurant at liangcourt and had an AWESOME time trying to figure out how we can take advantage of a mistake made by a waitress. Most had to go off after icecream cos of university exams (See how uni's so evil??) So me and margs ended up hanging out at 8bit with Boss and Ladyboss as there were no where else to go. It's not much of a change, only there're more cuter and cooler teeshirts. And guess what, when i got back, the third surprise was waiting for me at my own living room. But the surprise failed. Cos they were busying taking photos and couldnt hear my footsteps walking in. They didnt had time to hide, before i saw them through the window. But i was really surprised! Probably cos i had other stuff up in my head, or maybe cos i was only expecting to spend the night watching movies with just weiling, with dawn's "busy" with her school work! The night was really fun, cam whoring and all! But with one cup of alcohol putting dawn to sleep, the party was ended with puffy pillows and loud snores(from dawn). Actual bday was spent with my dear family, digging our fingers into chilli crab at amk. It was plain awesome! Only that the sauce was too sweet and there was only two for the 5 of us. What can i say, my appetite grew! Anyway it was just awesome having dinner with my family (:
(dslr pics are really weird in size''!) Since then, I've been slacking ard the house doing nothing but waiting for the uni exams to end for good. 2 more weeks are all i'm asking for to fast forward. But finally tmr i'm gg out with margs chanxi and gabriel. That will add some colour into my mundane life! So looking forward to it! :D
I've planned it so perfectly(kindof), but there's no chance i can apply it. Cos you dont care anymore.

AWESOMENESSSS!!!
5:10pm : I'm at Monash library and although it's a rule to be silent in the library so as to not disturb other students studying, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" This is the word that is left in my dictionary, now that my exams are OVERRRR!!!!!! I refuse to dampen my mood by reminding myself that i didnt have enough time to complete my paper while others left the examination hall 1hr before the exam duration. And i wont undermine my excitement by remembering how bad my papers were and whether i could pass them. I am so done with cramming 14chapters of a single mundane subject into my puny little memory space in one single day. And I am sooooo READY to pack my luggage and head back home on friday!! (Just realised it's Friday the 13th O.O//) Oh right, I've alr packed 3/4 of my luggage. Tmr will be the last day of Melbourne 2009 and i'm am so ready to party! But i assure that it wont be crazy cos i've got a long-waited flight to catch the next day. Gna finish packing tonight so that i can party in peace tmr! BYEBYE STUDIES 2009!!! "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Just said my goodbyes to my Aus/Viet friends. (Seeing them only next march. Missing them alr!!'') But i'll be saying my hellooos to my Sg/Sg friends!! That will improve my mood. This is soooo AWESOME!!!! :D

Have you ever slept for a straight 13hours and still feel like you didnt sleep at all? I'm so tired now that i cant even concentrate on a page of the management textbook. But this makes no sense at all after sleeping for the entire day. Sleep suppose to generate energy in you. So longer sleeping hours equivalent to more energy, no? Anyway, i'm procrasting every minute of studying, watching glee over and over again, listening to songs, msning with friends, and of cos the usual eating. So now, as i've done the rest, i've resulted in blogging. I have to start studying after this!! I just love it when the playboy of the drama finds himself loving one specific girl and decides that he's not gna play anymore. And usually to chase that girl's heart, the things he does melts the audiences heart. I kept repeating episode 8 on the song that Puck sang to Rachel, trying to win her heart over, kind of. And i've heard of the touching things Chuck Bass did for Blair. (So gna catch up on gossipgirl when i'm back in sg!) But this does not mean playboys are attractive or anythng. In fact, they are the worse guys for a girl to fall in love with. In the end, they're still jerks who break hearts. Oh well, off to study now then! I so cant wait for just another episode of gleeeeee! (Okay i sound/look like a crazy fanatic right now.)

I am so lazy. I've only slept 3hrs last night, and now i'm so lazy to sleep! I'm just hoping i can get my exam momentum back for that last management paper and not to live in a holiday mood like what i'm obviously doing now. Caught MichealJackson's This Is It on friday, and it was okay? There was nothing much to expect from it actually. It was awesome seeing how the concert could have been, but the shooting points, the fact that the effort put into rehearsals by the performers wasnt as what it would for the actual concert, and the constant abrupt interruptions of some mistakes. I know we couldn't expect much from the movie, but i secretly hoped it was better filmed and that the audience in the threatre would scream and cheer loudly after MJ. I guess i overestimated MJ's fans in Aussie. However, overall i dont regret watching the movie, cos i got to see the true talents of the King of POP and realised how awesome and legendary the concert could have been. It really was a true pity to the world, he should have passed away after at least finishing one of his concerts. But, it's just not under anyone's control. Btw, i got to know that if you're Micheal Jackson, no matter how weird you dress, how awkward some of yours dancemoves are and how people have criticised you, no one would ever judge you once you hit that note. It's just saddening when the fact of having no more new MJ songs, dawned upon us. Luckily there were those animated videos for each of his songs! Love it! But it was really a pity that he passed on before rehearsing the final showdown of the concert. Oh, we found out that there was this twitter site that this guy was conneting the spirits of Micheal Jackson. Google it! It seemed really untrue, but you seriously wont know the true existence of this magical stuff.
Last night was spent at Ed's house realising my new addicted series, Glee. It's a new english drama that its storyline is based on HighSchoolMusical, only that the jocks are himbos and the girls act like bitches. It's really awesome show, especially parts where they sing and dance. So awesome that it even made me have the urge to create a glee club! But it's only aired 8episodes and i've watched them all within a day/night (Thats the reason for the 3hrs of sleep). So i have to slowly wait till the season is complete before i could join back that addiction. I am so gg to drown myself in drama while waiting for the uni people to escape from their exams! But before that, management paper, luaggage packed, flight Qantas and home sweet home.
Oh! Adele just leaked out the "Secret Surprise" that they were gg to fetch me from the airport. Great job Adele! I'll try to be as shock as i can when i see you guys! And i'm having second thoughts about the party.
Maybe i shall just celebrate separately from different groups?? This song is really in my head, heart, voice right now. "Can.. (anybody find me somebody to love?) Each morning I get up, I die a little Can't barely stand on my feet Take a look in the mirror and cry Lord what you're doing to me I have spent all my years in believing you But I just can't get no relief, Lord! Somebody, (somebody), ooh somebody (somebody) Can anybody find me -(anybody find me) Somebody to love?" Love the lyrics, the music and the acapella!

Freedom! Partially.
Ohmygoodness. How i yearn to shout out the word: WOOOHOOOOO!! But unfortunately the walls are too thin and even if i did, i would probably find people knocking on the door suspecting an insane woman in the neighbours. Hence, i have no choice but to result in exclaiming in silence and yell it out with words. I've just finished with my 3rd paper and finally have a 5days break till my last paper on management. I shan't ruin the entire atmosphere with the discussion of my last few papers, the truth will decend onto me on 5dec when results are revealed. If you've read chanxi's blog on her extreme shopping spree, you would probably understand what i'm going through now. I'm thinking of home so much that images of me with my luggage at the door of my house keep appearing in my mind, even when i open or close my eyes! It's 7days from now, exactly one week away from touching, smelling, feeling and living my 15TaiHwanLane! I'm missing home so much that i almost forgot about my birthday! And that is considered not as of ordinary occurence. So, should i have a birthday bbq partyy one day after i get back?? But everyone would be so busy with university exams, will people attend?? If the birthday party exist, details would be: 14th November 2009 Saturday Evening BBQ @ my house, 15 Tai Hwan Lane Anyone interested?? I'm starting to prepare for home. Even my orange luggage is out and ready to be filled with clothes, shoes, bags and gifts. I am so prepared and looking forward to 13th Nov that i'm so afraid that stuff might happen to prevent a smooth journey home. I'l be praying hopefully not. The first activity after getting home is prawning with weiling and dawn at Bishan! How exciting! I'm going back to adding stuff in my luggage! Btw, i hate facebook stalking.
